Incidentally, if you are an author thinking of going with an epublisher, bookmark the blog I’ve linked to above. “Epublishers in trouble” is no longer the “hot” thing to blog about in the big blogs out there, so you may want to stick to Emily Veinglory’s blog so as to keep track with news and rumors. I don’t know whether there is any other definitive blog for this kind of thing, though. The Writer’s Beware blog is mostly on dead tree publishing, Absolute Write no longer has first dibs on news because most whistleblowers are – or so I hear – tired of dealing with the core regulars there that are always on attack mode, and, as I’ve said, the bigger blogs are now so promo-friendly, you may actually mistake them for a publisher/bookstore blog if you aren’t paying attention.
